Abortion
As someone deeply committed to protecting life, I have extensively studied the issue of abortion from multiple perspectives—scientific, philosophical, and religious. Through this rigorous research, I have concluded that abortion, as it is currently practiced and largely for elective reasons, constitutes the taking of a human life. This conviction is rooted in a profound respect for the sanctity of life at all stages and a belief in the inherent dignity of every human being.
My stance is not solely based on religious beliefs but is also informed by scientific data that underscores the development and humanity of the unborn child, as well as philosophical principles that recognize the intrinsic value of life. I believe that society must foster a culture of life, where every human being, born or unborn, is afforded the protection and respect they deserve.
In advocating for this position, I also recognize the complex and often challenging circumstances that lead individuals to consider abortion. It is crucial that we provide comprehensive support and compassionate alternatives to women facing difficult pregnancies, ensuring they have access to the resources and care they need. This approach balances the protection of unborn life with empathy and practical assistance for women and families in need.
Together, we can work towards a future where every life is valued and cherished, and where the difficult decisions surrounding pregnancy are met with compassion, understanding, and meaningful support.

The Science
What is Life?
First and foremost, it is important to identify what life really is. According to basic biological principles, life in biology are as follows: Order, Sensitivity or Response to environment, Reproduction, Growth and Development, Regulation, Energy Processing, and Evolution (not entirely consistent with Christian theology). Almost all of these principles are executed throughout the pregnancy process. The following 3D medical animation by the Dandelion Team provides the process of human pregnancy.
What is a Fetus?
The etymology of the word means: ” The term “fetus” has its roots in Latin, where it was originally spelled “fœtus.” The word can be traced back to the Latin verb “fȳtāre,” which means “to bring forth, beget, or produce.” In ancient Rome, the word “fetus” was used to refer to the unborn offspring of humans and animals. The late Middle English word “fetus” comes from the Latin “fetus,” which means “pregnancy, childbirth, offspring” and is often incorrectly spelled as “foetus.” The Latin term itself derives from a suffixed form of the Proto-Indo-European root *dhe(i)-, which means “to suck.” So, the etymology of “fetus” reflects its association with the process of bringing forth new life.
When can a fetus feel pain?
The jury is still out on this category because “pain” is subjective to the individual, or in this case, the baby. The very first organ to be created is the brain and spinal cord. And this makes sense since the brain controls the basic functions of life, and the spine carries the electrical impulses to and from the brain. This occurs in the 3 weeks of life. It is “theorized” that a baby will feel pain at the 6th or 7th week of life, but it’s important to point out that this is only a theory since it is not possible to receive feedback from the baby.
Based on the extensive scientific research and my own personal observation of watching my daughter’s development, it is impossible to not come to the conclusion that life begins at conceptions.

Abortion
What is an abortion and why does it matter?
There are two types of abortion: chemical and dilation and evacuation/extraction (D&E / D&X). Understand that no sedatives or anesthesia are administered to the mother or the baby during any of these procedures.
- Chemical abortions are a two-step process. The first is taking a pill called mifepristone (blocks progesterone), followed by another pill called misoprostol (softens the cervix and causes the uterus to contract and expel the pregnancy). This process is done in the first 10 weeks.
- Dilation and Evacuation (D&E) is done in the in the second trimester. The common process involves a vacuum aspiration. The basic concept is inserting a vacuum tube into the uterus and suck out the baby into a glass jar.
- Dilation and Extraction (D&X) is completed in the second or third trimester. After the cervix has been softened, a doctor with conduct an invasive extraction of the baby. This concept involves a “doctor” ripping apart a baby limb-from-limb. In some states, this option is available all the way until the day of birth.
Regardless of the science behind these operations, it is cruel and unusual punishment to inflict excruciating violence and pain upon the unborn (8th Amendment violation). Because there is ZERO medical evidence that baby won’t feel pain, any reasonable person can conclude that these options are cruel. It is essential to consider the moral, ethical, and legal implications of such actions, especially when it comes to vulnerable individuals who are unable to advocate for themselves. The lack of concrete medical evidence regarding the unborn’s ability to feel pain raises significant concerns about the potential harm caused by certain procedures. As a society, it is crucial to engage in thoughtful and respectful discussions on these matters to ensure that decisions are made with empathy and consideration for all parties involved. The intersection of science, ethics, and human rights in this context demands careful evaluation and a compassionate approach to addressing the complexities of these issues.

Solution
To be honest, the only solution today rests with the People. Roe v. Wade was a case involving the protection of privacy between a doctor and their patient from unwarranted or unlawful violations of privacy by the federal government. The overturning of this case, in my opinion, is the correct course for society to come to grips with the realities of abortion. It is brutal and a plague on our society to devalue human life.
Additionally, Planned Parenthood’s main revenue source comes from medical abortions, and they have been caught selling body parts to universities and pharmaceutical companies. The disgusting reality behind the creation of Planned Parenthood was that the founder, Margaret Sanger was a eugenicist and targeted the Black community.
Today, over 90% of abortions are “elective” in nature and not for reasons that are often stated. Abortion has become the #1 form of birth control in our society. Since 1973, this predatory industry has claimed the lives of 20 million black children in the United States (The Ohio Senate). And while many have falsely labeled abortion as healthcare, it is evident by the numbers that abortion is an extermination of innocent lives. To make the matters worse, OUR tax dollars are going to fund the intentional homicide of children.
Arguments
A fetus is not a baby.
The Latin word means “pregnancy, childbirth, offspring.” A synonym for “baby.”
A fetus is a clump of cells.
At one point during the development, this is true. But by definition, we are all just a clump of cells wrapped in fleshy tissue.
My body, my choice!
True… so make better choices. Women have a unique and beautiful body that has the ability to create life. So, choose abstinence until marriage, choose a better man that values your creative ability, choose safe sex, or choose birth control. Heck, we even have “Plan B” as a safe option to prevent unwanted pregnancies.
Abortions should be safe, legal, and rare!
A famous quote by Hilary Clinton (a racist woman). This was just a stupid phrase that was designed for society to accept abortion. In the end, we have abortion-on-demand and millions of innocent lives have had to pay the price.
Abortion should be for those who are poor and can’t support a child.
This has to be the dumbest argument ever devised. First off, sexual education has been a staple in our society for three decades (30 years). Every single middle school and high school student knows and understands the consequences of unprotected sex. For the adults, there really is no excuse in the matter.
Since abortion was designed to reduce the Black population, what does this argument say to that community? That the Black community is poor? Uneducated? Too stupid to make better choices? This is inherently a racist position to have and I reject anyone that supports it.
Cases for Rape or Incest
I’ll start with the fact that any person that sexually assaults another person should be prosecuted and thrown in prison for 25 years or more. The reality is that rape or incest is exceptionally rare and abortions are less than 1% of all abortion practices.
